In this privacy policy references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ refer to Grand Lux Nail Spa. This policy will explain what information we collect about you and how we use it.

The information we collect and how

At Grand Lux Nail Spa we take privacy seriously and only use the information we collect to provide our services. We do not share or sell the information we collect for any other purpose than providing the best possible service for our clients. At any time, you may request a copy of information we have recorded about you. You may also request we remove all identifiable information with respect to yourself. As a matter of course, we will delete your identifiable information if you have not undertaken business with us after 3 years.

For transparency, listed are the business services we provide and how each service uses the information we collect.

Nail and beauty related services:

We request the minimum level of personally identifying information to run our business effectively. This is data you provide us directly, for example, your name and contact details. We will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside our business. We store notes with respect to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service. For example, your preferred nail style, colour, how you like your coffee and who your favourite nail technicians are. We consider you have provided consent for us to store personally identifying information and information about your services based on your receiving services from us. Depending on the particular service(s) we are providing we may be required to ask questions related to your medical history. We will obtain your consent prior to storing information related to your medical history. Examples of medical data may be allergies, pregnancy or an injury that may impact our service.

Appointment confirmations and reminders:

We will contact you via phone, email or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments. We consider your having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt-out at any time.

Appointment ratings and reviews:

After visiting us we may send you an email or SMS asking you to rate our services and provide feedback. We consider your agreement and participation in the service as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.


We consider becoming a member of our loyalty program as consent to send you emails related to the loyalty program but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.


We will not undertake phone, mail, email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for us to do so. Our marketing campaigns are automated and use rules based on services and products purchased and information we collect from you. For example, we may send marketing campaigns related to your birthday, the fact we miss you (you have not visited for 3 months) and other special days like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Of course, you may opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.

No cash refunds will be given after you have left the salon. As soon as you have walked out the salon door that means you have accepted and are happy with the service provided to your nails.

– If you are not happy with your nails, please make us aware of it before you pay. We will adjust them to your satisfaction or remove any enhancements or coatings that have been applied.

– No refund will be given because you have simply changed your mind.

– We will correct any service at no cost to you provided that you tell us immediately after we have performed the service that you are unhappy with the quality of the work. If you are still not happy after we fixed your nails and request the refund, then you have to go through our Customer Complaint Procedure in writing to us, state the reason you are unsatisfied after we redid your nails and provide a photo of the evidence of the nails that were fixed by us.

– If refund is accepted, it will be made by bank transfer within 30 days into your provided bank details.

Lost Property

We ask clients to look after their property while at Grand Lux Nail Spa as we are unable to take responsibility of items left unattended.


Please remember, nails are jewels, not tools. Be kind to your nails and they will look beautiful for weeks after your service.

  • Traditional polish services are not guaranteed.
  • Enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 48 hours after your appointment. If you lose an enhancement or notice chips or lifting within 48 hours, please call us to schedule a free repair.
  • You must arrange an appointment to have your nails fixed within 5 days after your initial service.
  • Repairs after 3 days or for breakages, tears, and corner breaks will be charged.
  • We will not be responsible for any breaking or infected nails after you leave the salon .


You may come across hyper-links on this site. These hyper-links may take you to sites operated by other organisations which you agree we are not responsible for. When preparing our website we have taken every care possible. However, we have no control over any of the information you can access via other web sites and, in particular, we are not responsible for the privacy policies adopted by such other websites. Therefore, no mention of any organisation, company or individual to which our web site is linked shall imply any approval or warranty as to the standing and capability of any such organisations, company or individual on the part of Grand Lux Nail Spa.


All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and are subject to change without prior notice. The range of treatments is subject to availability.


With regret due to health and safety regulations, please consider making other arrangements for your children when you come for your treatment. A salon is not the safest place for a child, since hot tools, very sharp objects, and chemicals are in regular use. Our therapists are unable to carry out your treatment if they also need to keep an eye on child safety. We as a salon want to ensure that both you and our other clients receive a relaxing treatment. Therefore, if on arrival at salon for treatment, you have children with you, your treatment will need to be cancelled – this is for the benefit of your children and all clients. We thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.

The Right to Refuse Treatments

Please note we reserve the right to refuse treatments; disrespect and rudeness towards Grand Lux Nail Spa staff will not be tolerated.
